Site includes search capabilities and links to related sites.

Doctor's Guide: Complete Internet Medical Resources: This site is sponsored by a large group of pharmaceutical companies and includes search capabilities as well as a long listing of links to health-related sites, many of them specifically written for health professionals.

Healthfinder: Provides links to more than 1250 web sites, including health-related sites for federal, state, local, not-for-profit, university and other health resources.

MedWeb: A great place to search for all types of medical information from Emory University.

MEDLINE: The most extensive collection of published medical information in the world is now accessible, free-of-charge, to Internet users.

Medical Matrix: Comprehensive index to medical resources on the Internet for physicians and health care providers. Use the search feature or go to specific topics. Includes news, conferences, journals, educational resources and more.

Pharmaceutical Information Network: Provides information on various conditions grouped into disease centers as follows: cancer, cardiovascular disease, digestive diseases, endocrine disease and diabetes, immunologic disease and allergy, nervous system and mental health, respiratory disease and asthma.

Physicians Online: POL is a private, physician-only online service that requires the installation of software for physicians to access the many benefits of membership. Provides comprehensive medical and non-medical content, private communication tools and Web access to the largest online community of physicians in the world.
