If you do not have insurance and you pay your first hospital bill by the due date, you are eligible for a 10% prompt pay discount. To take advantage of this discount, please call us.
What if I cannot pay the entire balance due on my bill?

Where do I mail my Financial Disclosure form?
Properly completed Financial Disclosure forms should be mailed to the hospital where you received or will receive services.
What is MedAssist?
MedAssist is a company that works with patients at the request of the hospital. They may contact you to see if you qualify for Medicaid, DSH, or other financial assistance programs and assist you with the application process.
Who do I contact with questions about my hospital bill?
There are several ways to contact Patient Financial Services with questions about your bill:

You can send us your questions or request an update on your account balance using our online form.
Phone
You can call us and speak to one of our Customer Service representatives.
In person
You can visit the Cashier at the hospital for assistance.
Please note: The bill you received from us represents hospital charges only. You may receive additional bills from others who provided services to you, such as physicians. If you have questions about those bills, contact those providers directly.
How do I update my insurance information or mailing address?
There are several ways to contact Patient Financial Services with changes in your insurance information or address:

You can make changes to your insurance information or mailing address using our online form.
Phone
You can call us and speak to one of our Customer Service representatives. When calling to change or update your insurance information, please have your insurance card available.
Mail
A form is provided on the back of the bill payment stub that you can use to update your insurance or address when you mail your payment.
How do I order a copy of my itemized (detailed) bill?
An itemized statement is available upon request. There are two ways to order an itemized statement:

You can request a copy of your itemized statement using our online form.
Phone
You can order an itemized statement if you call us and choose menu option 1.
Can I pay my bill online?
Baptist Healthcare System does provide a way to pay your bill online. Baptist Healthcare System uses Click-to-Pay to complete an online payment.
What information do I need to have available to pay my bill online?
You will need the following information to complete the Click-to-pay transaction; your service dates, account number, payment amount from your bill, the credit card number, four digit security code from your card and the card expiration date. View an example bill
How does online bill pay work?
When paying your bill online, Baptist Healthcare System will direct you to a secure site , Click-to-Pay, designed to accept Baptist Healthcare hospital payments. Payments made through Click-to-Pay should be posted to your account the next business day.
What payment methods can be used for online bill pay?
We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover. We do not currently accept checks online.
What if I have trouble paying my bill online?
If you have difficulty paying your bill online, call us 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST Monday through Friday.
Can I see my new account balance after I have paid my bill?
We do not currently display account information online. If you would like information regarding your account, call us 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST Monday through Friday.
I have my pop-up blocker enabled. How do I allow your legitimate pop-ups?
If you are using a browser or other toolbar to block pop-up windows, you may need to lessen this restriction or specifically allow pop-ups to originate from www.bhsi.com in order to use the online billing feature of Baptist Healthcare System.
