The Patient Financial Services Department, located in the Eastpointe Business Center, serves all five hospitals in the Baptist Healthcare System. The department is located in Northeast Louisville, just off of I-265E, exit 32. This department bills all insurance claims for the patients, including Medicare and Medicaid and follows up on unpaid balances. All payment and adjustment posting is done in this office. A call center answers all patient inquiries concerning their accounts. We currently have approximately 90 people who are part of this area, as well as eighteen cashiers and financial counselors based on site at the five hospitals. We look for prospective employees who have experience in hospital business related activities. Centralized Business Office employees are key contributors in maintaining the financial health of BHS and continuing its mission of providing excellent patient care.
