Digital mammography and DEXA bone density testing are coming to Baptist Crestwood

    Digital mammography equipment will be installed at Baptist Crestwood in April, meaning patients can receive their mammograms there beginning Wednesday, April 27th.

    DEXA scanning equipment has also been ordered, with an installation date by late spring. DEXA scanning is considered the gold standard in bone mineral density testing. Both digital mammography and DEXA scanning are currently available at Baptist Hospital Northeast.

    Baptist Crestwood, Baptist Hospital Northeast’s first outpatient facility, opened in June 2010 with outpatient physical therapy, diagnostic imaging (CT scans and X-rays) and physician offices.
