Baptist Eastpoint is adding a Radiation Center

Construction on the $6.6 million Radiation Center at Baptist Eastpoint (Baptist East’s new outpatient facility) is well underway. Delivery and installation of equipment began in late September and the facility will tentatively be ready for patents later this year or early 2010. The construction does not interfere with other services offered at Eastpoint, which opened in January 2009. Services include diagnostic imaging; outpatient surgery; Baptist Urgent Care; cardiovascular services; physical therapy; speech, occupational and physical therapy for children; physician offices; and a café.
