Baptist East Tops in Care for 5th Year
For the fifth year in a row, Baptist Hospital East has been rated tops in care and one of the best places to work in Kentucky.
Earlier this year, Baptist East was named one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals® by Thomson Reuters – the only Louisville hospital named to the list and one of only 20 hospitals recognized in the "Large Community Hospital" category (those with more than 250 beds). The Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals® National Benchmarks study is based on the 100 Top Hospitals National Balanced Scorecard that evaluates performance in nine areas: mortality, medical complications, patient safety, average length of stay, expenses, profitability, cash-to-debt ratio, patient satisfaction, and adherence to clinical standards of care.
Also for the fifth year, Baptist East was named one of the top 25 "Best Places to Work in Kentucky" by the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, among large companies of 200 or more employees.
The competition recognizes companies that focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence.
